Where to rent a villa in Bali?

Bali has an area of only 5,632km2 and measures just 55 miles along the north-south axis and less than about 90 miles from East to West but Bali sure does have a lot of different areas in which to find luxury villa rentals.
The good news is, that, because Bali is quite small you can explore various areas on day tours. You can go wherever you want on Bali and return to your rental villa in the evening.

(i) Southwest Bali
The most populous area for tourists and villa rentals is the south of Bali. Areas such as Bali;s fashionable playground Seminyak have emerged in recent years to be the hippest rental hangout on the island. Discerning travelers flock to villas for rent in Seminyak and enjoy fine dining, beach side cocktail bars, chic boutiques and the best of Bali nightlife. Nearby areas such as Petitenget, Umalas and Canggu are home to some wonderful villa rentals in a more secluded and traditional setting. For returning visitors to Bali or those who like to explore, Bali;s Southwest coastline is less developed and is home to some magnificent glistening black sand beaches and rentals.

(ii) South East Bali
The south east of Bali has a traditional village feel in areas such as Sanur. Guests return to south east Bali year on year, guaranteed to find great rentals, quaint Bali beach cafes, sheltered areas to swim and generally less bustle than the sunset side of the island. It;s a nice area for families with small children. (iii) The Bukit Peninsula

(iv) North Bali
If you want to head off the tourist track, mix with Bali locals and enjoy some of Bali;s most beautiful natural sights then north Bali is a fantastic option to rent a hideaway. Expect quiet fishing villages, rarely visited beaches and stunning scenery.


What time of year is best to rent a villa in Bali?

Although world weather and seasons are becoming increasingly unpredictable, generally speaking Bali;s tropical monsoon climate has two distinct seasons; dry (May to September/October) and wet (October/November to April). Monsoon refers to the wind, not rain. In monsoon you will find fast moving rain clouds which usually do not remain for long on Bali. Bali is located only 8 degrees south of the equator which means that Bali has one of the most reliable and sunny climates in the Tropics. Daytime temperature averages between 27c to 32 c. In Bali, in the earlier part of the year it is quite humid at about 75% so often times it feels much hotter. The mountains tend to be cooler at around 21c to 27c (70 F to 80 F).

Even when it rains in most parts of Bali you can enjoy sunny days on the Bukit in your rental, the hill south of Jimbaran Beach. On the other hand, further inland in Ubud and in north Bali you should expect cloudy skies throughout the year. In higher mountainous Bali regions such as in Bedugul or Kintamani it can get a little chilly after sunset.

1. Browse our Di Bali website and choose in your favorite Bali villa rental. Once you have selected a list of desirable Bali villas to rent, they will appear in your Inquiry List.
2. Submit this to us and we will check availability against your requested dates. If your first choice rental villa is not available we will always offer another stunning Bali rental within your budget nearby. It;s important to us at Di Bali to answer all rental inquiries promptly so expect to hear from us within 24 hours of your inquiry.
3. Or call our office line and let one of our Di Bali villa rental specialists help you with your selection.
4. Your Di Bali villa rental specialist will then review availability and tailor your trip to your specific requirements.
5. Once you;re completely satisfied with your Bali itinerary, your rental contract is then issued and we will request a deposit to secure your chosen villa, since Bali villa rentals operate on a first come first served basis. We will secure the villa for you with a 50% deposit via bank transfer (please see our terms and conditions). 50% balance is then required xx number of days before arrival.
6. Di Bali concierge service will then assist with any prior arrangement requests such as car hire, babysitter service, personal Bali tour guide etc.
7. A final villa rental document is presented to you prior to arrival with all contact information and arrangements
8. On your arrival in Bali your Di Bali concierge is on hand to assist with all your holiday requirements. Once you have settled into Bali time, we;ll pop by your home rental and make sure you;re enjoying every minute of your Bali vacation.
